Scratch advanced. Level 5 is for the advanced scratch user. Having finished all the games in the previous level, students should be well prepared for the challenges that this level poses. Defining functions and introducing real programming concepts like booleans, strings, and integers. For the test, students have to create a game of 21 and play it against the computer. This level requires students to be able to understand and apply the concepts taught throughout the previous five lessons to a high degree of effectiveness.

In the Scratch advanced course, Level 5 is designed for those who are already experienced in using Scratch. Building upon the skills acquired in the previous levels, this level presents more complex challenges that require a deeper understanding of programming concepts. In addition to consolidating their knowledge of functions, students will be introduced to fundamental programming concepts such as booleans, strings, and integers.

To assess their progress, students will be tasked with creating a game of 21 and competing against the computer. This exercise not only tests their ability to apply the concepts learned, but also challenges them to think critically and strategically.

Mastering Level 5 goes beyond simply completing the tasks at hand. It requires students to demonstrate a high degree of effectiveness in understanding and applying the concepts taught throughout the previous five lessons. By doing so, students will not only become proficient in Scratch programming, but also develop the problem-solving skills necessary for further success in the field of programming.

From Space Invaders, to Flappy Bird, to TRON, and Earth Defense, Level 4 is for the scratch user that is already familiar with all of the basic and even some intermediate concepts of scratch. The games are made to be adjustable in difficulty on a per-student basis. This is definitely amongst the favorite levels for our students as they have so much fun creating and customizing their own games.
