Bringing together over 200 elite teams from China (Taiwan), the United States, Mexico, and Canada, this high-stakes tournament showcased some of the best talents in competitive robotics.
A Champion’s Journey: Middle School Team 13697H (Stakehouse)
In a thrilling display of perseverance and precision, Techblazers’ middle school team 13697H (Stakehouse) took the tournament by storm! After an intense finals showdown, they battled through four matches, securing two wins, one loss, and one tie. Partnering with Vancouver’s powerhouse 9568V, they clinched the Tournament Champion title, earning a well-deserved spot at the VEX Robotics World Championship 2025. Their technical excellence also won them the prestigious Think Award!
Senior Team 16610A (Snacky Cakes) – A Fierce Contender
Not to be outdone, our high school team 16610A (Snacky Cakes) fought their way to the division championship, making it to the final stage. Facing two of the top-ranked American teams, they played a fierce best-of-three series, narrowly missing the overall title with a 2-1 loss. However, their remarkable effort earned them both the Division Champion and Tournament Finalist honors!
The Road to the VEX Robotics World Championship 2025
The Mecha Mayhem 2025 event is one of the most challenging qualifiers for the VEX Robotics World Championship, offering just three elite qualification spots. Featuring a “worlds feel” with 16 alliances battling in elimination rounds, this tournament pushes teams to their limits, preparing them for the intensity of global competition.
