🏆 Build Award
🌎 Qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship together with sister team 16610V
In VEX competitions, the Tournament Award represents one of the most important competitive achievements. Teams must first perform well in qualification matches to rank highly, then compete in alliance elimination rounds alongside their alliance partners through multiple playoff matches.
Team 16610A delivered steady performances throughout the tournament and advanced all the way to the finals, ultimately finishing as Tournament Finalist among 80 top teams. This result highlights the robot’s strong performance as well as the team’s strategic gameplay.
In addition, the team earned the Build Award, which recognizes excellence in the robot’s structural design. The award evaluates aspects such as mechanical robustness, design efficiency, and overall engineering quality.
Winning both the Tournament Finalist title and the Build Award demonstrates that Team 16610A excelled in both competitive performance and engineering design.

🌎 Qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship
Team 16610G demonstrated strong all-around performance throughout the event.
The Robot Skills Challenge is one of the most important individual team rankings in VEX competitions. Unlike alliance matches, the Skills Challenge relies entirely on a single team’s robot performance and driver/programming ability, without the support of alliance partners. As a result, it is often considered a key indicator of a robot’s reliability and programming capability.
The team also received the Design Award, one of the most prestigious engineering awards in VEX competitions. The award evaluates not only the robot itself, but also the team’s engineering notebook, design iterations, and overall engineering process. Winning the Design Award reflects excellence in engineering thinking, design capability, and technical communication.
Team 16610B
🏆 Build Award
Team 16610B earned recognition from the judges for its strong mechanical structure and engineering implementation, ultimately receiving the Build Award. This award highlights excellence in mechanical design and build quality.
The Ontario Provincial Championship is not only one of the most important regional competitions of the season, but also a major gateway to the VEX Robotics World Championship.
Amid fierce competition, multiple TechBlazers teams achieved breakthroughs across competitive performance, engineering design, and Robot Skills, successfully securing their spots at the World Championship.
Next, they will continue preparing for the VEX Robotics World Championship, where they will compete on the global stage alongside the best robotics teams from around the world.
