On February 20, 2025, TechBlazers proudly participated in Silver Stream Public School’s STEAM Night, an electrifying event that immersed over 250 students and their families in hands-on learning experiences across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
Engaging Future Innovators with Hands-On Technology
To make the event truly interactive, TechBlazers set up four dynamic booths, each tailored to different age groups and learning levels:
👦 Ages 4-6.5: LEGO Duplo Robotics & 3D Pen Art
The youngest learners were introduced to basic engineering concepts through LEGO Duplo Robotics and 3D pen activities. With wide-eyed enthusiasm, kids built simple machines like cars and cranes while unleashing their creativity using 3D pens.
🧒 Ages 7-9: LEGO WeDo 2.0 Robotics, 3D Printing & Scratch Coding
This station encouraged students to build robotic models, explore 3D design, and dive into Scratch programming. Kids created their first interactive games, gaining foundational coding and problem-solving skills.
👨🎓 Ages 10-12: Advanced Robotics & 3D Design
Older students stepped up to more complex robotics projects and worked on sophisticated 3D design challenges. They even designed LEGO mini figures using professional 3D software and built advanced Scratch games inspired by popular titles like Geometry Dash.
🤖 Ages 12-14: VEX IQ Robotics Challenge
The highlight for older students was the VEX IQ Robotics Challenge, where they programmed robots to perform specific tasks in a competitive yet educational setting. The energy was palpable as students showcased their skills in robotics, coding, and strategic thinking.
A Night of Exploration and Engagement
Throughout the evening, TechBlazers’ dedicated team of 6-10 instructors worked tirelessly to ensure every student received personalized guidance. Equipped with 12 laptops, robotics kits, and 3D printers, we transformed the school into a hands-on technology hub.
What truly stood out was the enthusiasm of students and parents alike—many experiencing the power of STEAM education for the first time. Teachers and families appreciated how TechBlazers made advanced technological concepts accessible, exciting, and interactive for all skill levels.
