TechBlazers understands that occasional absences are unavoidable. To support families while maintaining program continuity, we offer a flexible makeup policy designed to balance accountability with educational consistency.
Each student is entitled to two complimentary makeup classes per term, provided that the parent or guardian notifies the school at least 24 hours in advance of the missed session. These makeup sessions must be scheduled and completed within two weeks of the original class. Please note that late arrivals will not result in extended time or rollover minutes.
For any additional absences beyond the two allotted makeups—or in cases where prior notice is not given—a $50 administrative fee will apply per makeup class. If a student is absent and no makeup is arranged within the designated period, the class will be considered forfeited, and a deduction may be applied to the course fee.
For long-term absences (e.g., travel lasting longer than three weeks), we require one week of advance notice. In these cases, TechBlazers will work with families to explore rescheduling options. Depending on availability, returning students may be reassigned to a different class group to ensure proper pacing and placement.
Weather-related cancellations initiated by TechBlazers are not counted against makeup limits. These classes will be automatically rescheduled at no cost or penalty to the student.
