Techblazers: From the Classroom to the World Stage
In the first global signature competition of the 2025–2026 VEX season, Techblazers’ two teams made history.
Team 16610A, partnering with China Shanghai Ruiguan 9123A, fought their way through an intense final. After dropping the first match, they staged a stunning 2–1 comeback victory to become the world’s first team to qualify for the 2026 VEX World Championship. Alongside their tournament triumph, they swept the Robot Skills Champion, Amaze Award, and Think Award, showcasing unmatched all-round technical and strategic excellence.
Team 16610V also impressed, battling through fierce competition to secure a TOP 8 finish among 112 elite teams from around the globe.
More than Winning: Building Character
The competition wasn’t just about trophies. In a post-match interview, one Techblazers student revealed the team’s mindset:
“I told them not to be nervous, to stay calm, and relax.”
Such composure—especially from teenagers in high-pressure finals—reflects how robotics education shapes not only technical skills, but also confidence, resilience, and character.
One parent shared:
“My child transformed from being introverted to now confidently leading a team. Techblazers and robotics learning have changed his personality and life trajectory.”
These stories highlight an often-overlooked truth: robotics isn’t only about building machines—it’s about building people.
Why Can Techblazers Students Conquer the World?
Core Technical Competency
Every robot is independently designed and iteratively optimized by students themselves—from mechanical engineering to coding and automation. This hands-on mastery develops the exact problem-solving and innovation skills needed in the AI-driven future.
Strategic Thinking & Composure Under Pressure
Robotics competitions are as much about the mind as they are about machines. Students learn to analyze situations, adapt quickly, and make calculated decisions even under intense time and score pressure—skills that transfer directly into real-world challenges.
Global Perspective & Teamwork
By competing with and against international teams, students experience cultural exchange, collaboration, and the spirit of global innovation.
