At TechBlazers, we’re excited to announce our specialized AMC8 summer training camp! We’re known for our focus on regular robotics, coding, and 3D design courses, as well as for training for robotics competitions such as FLL, VEXIQ, VEX, FRC, and global coding contests. With this summer camp, we’re expanding our offering to include a deep dive into the world of competitive mathematics.
Our instructor, Mr. Xu, brings a wealth of experience to the table. With a background encompassing mathematics, physics, and computer competitions, he has a trajectory of academic excellence from primary school all the way through to graduate school. His eight years of competition teaching experience in Canada will be invaluable to students at our summer camp.
The AMC8 summer camp is designed to be immersive and interactive, making the exploration of the intricacies of mathematics both engaging and enjoyable. Our experienced teachers will guide students through fascinating challenges to ignite their love for mathematics, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and cultivate their mathematical logical thinking.
In line with our commitment to personalized learning, the camp will offer small-class teaching. The content is custom-designed for students preparing for the AMC8. The curriculum includes quick calculation, counting, data management, geometry, probability, numbers, and logic. We also emphasize problem-solving skills and the ability to solve problems with equations.
The camp is open to students in grades 4 to 8. We operate small classes with 4 to 6 students to ensure that each student gets individual attention and guidance.
The cost for our summer camp is $800 CAD (tax included) for 20 hours of instruction. The camp dates are as follows: 07/01-07/12, 07/15-07/26, 07/29-08/09, and 08/12-08/23. Classes run from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM every day for 10 consecutive days. The camp will be held at our location at 3F, 500 Hwy 7. Richmond Hill, L4B 1J1.

What is AMC8?
AMC8, also known as the American Mathematics Competition 8, is a prestigious mathematics competition for students in the middle school grades. It is designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills, as well as to inspire students to develop a love for mathematics. The competition involves a series of challenging math problems that go beyond typical grade-level math curriculum, testing students’ creativity and analytical abilities.
