Held from July 31 to August 2 at the legendary Mall of America, the University of North Dakota Signature Event welcomed 112 of the most elite robotics teams from across the globe. Among them, Techblazers 16610A (Snacky Cakes) and 16610V (Vanadium) proudly represented Canada — and made history while doing it.
First Team Worldwide to Qualify for 2026 VEX Worlds
Techblazers 16610A, in alliance with Shanghai Ruiguan Team 9123A, emerged victorious after a thrilling 2-1 final match, earning the prestigious Tournament Champion title. This win secures 16610A a groundbreaking achievement — becoming the very first team worldwide to qualify for the 2026 VEX World Championship. Their performance demonstrated not only engineering brilliance but also nerves of steel and flawless collaboration.
