We are incredibly proud to share that TechBlazers Team 13697H has been crowned the Overall Champion in the VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) Middle School Division at the 2025 U.S. Open National Championship!
Held over three days in Iowa, this prestigious competition—often called the “Olympics of Robotics”—brought together 158 champion-level teams from across the globe. In a display of exceptional innovation, precision, and teamwork, our students rose to the top, earning the event’s highest honor: the Excellence Award.
Representing Canada as the only team to make it to the finals, 13697H showed the world what passion, innovation, and relentless teamwork can accomplish. It wasn’t just about the trophy—it was about proving what’s possible when young minds are given the tools and the trust to lead.
International Victory at the U.S. Open
Held over three thrilling days, the VEX Robotics U.S. Open brought together the world’s best student engineers and programmers for a battle of creativity, precision, and innovation. As the only Canadian team to reach the finals, TechBlazers 13697H proved themselves on the global stage, outperforming national champions from the U.S., China, and beyond.
Their performance was crowned with the Excellence Award, recognizing outstanding achievements in every aspect of competitive robotics—from engineering notebooks and teamwork to autonomous programming and game strategy.
Silver Finish in Mega Alliance Showcase
In addition to their championship win, the team also earned 2nd Place (Silver) in the highly anticipated Mega Alliance Showcase, a collaborative challenge featuring multi-team alliances from different regions. The team’s leadership, communication, and rapid problem-solving skills shone through in this dynamic, high-stakes event.
These dual achievements reflect not only technical skill, but also the collaborative spirit and sportsmanship that define the TechBlazers program.
