2025–2026 was a season that will forever be written into TechBlazers history.
At the recently concluded 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship High School Event, Team 16610A from TechBlazers advanced all the way to the World Finals and ultimately earned the title of World Championship Finalists — finishing as the World Runner-Up. This marks the highest achievement by a Canadian VEX V5 team on the world stage in nearly a decade. In addition, 16610A also won the Division Champions title and the Create Award.
From Ontario qualifying events, to Signature Events across North America, and finally to the World Championship stage, we continued to push boundaries, grow, and achieve breakthrough after breakthrough.

The 2026–2027 Season Has Officially Begun
TechBlazers VEX V5 Team Recruitment Is Now Open!
Why Are More and More Families Choosing TechBlazers?
TechBlazers is not simply a competition-focused organization. We work closely with multiple private schools across Toronto to co-develop and continuously refine a long-term STEM education system.
We believe that:
✅ Long-term systematic learning is the foundation of real engineering ability
✅ Original design is the true core of robotics education
✅ World-class competition experience builds students’ overall capabilities
This is why our students continue to achieve breakthroughs on the international stage.
During the 2025–2026 season, several original mechanisms designed by Team 16610A even influenced design trends throughout the VEX community and became widely studied and adopted by top international teams.
Behind World-Class Results Is a World-Class Coaching Team
Our coaching staff combines elite international competition experience with real engineering backgrounds. Leading Teams 16610A and 16610G to the world stage this season were two of our core coaches:
Tony Qian

- Co-Founder of RoboEDU and TechBlazers
- Lead robotics instructor for top private school programs
- Over 10 years of robotics teaching experience
- Mentored 50+ world-class championship students
- Personally won the 2015 VEX World Championship and 2022 VEX World Championship, achieving historic milestones for Canada in VEX Robotics
This season, Tony served as one of the lead head coaches behind Team 16610A’s World Runner-Up finish.
Alessandro Cunsolo
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University
- Years of experience in VEX competitions and robotics education
- Background in 3D printing business management and engineering practice
