With the start of the new school year, TechBlazers is proud to announce its collaboration with Richmond Hill Montessori School (RHMS) to create and train elite VEX IQ robotics teams. This exciting partnership will allow RHMS students in grades 6-8 to compete in the 2024-2025 VEX IQ robotics competition. TechBlazers and RHMS aim to cultivate future leaders in robotics and technology.
Building Future Innovators
This collaboration between TechBlazers and RHMS highlights our commitment to fostering young minds in STEM education. By working closely with RHMS educators, we ensure that students receive world-class robotics training. Selected students will join two newly formed teams, competing at the highest level of VEX IQ events.
Comprehensive Robotics Training
The VEX IQ competition is renowned for inspiring students’ creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. TechBlazers’ training program will prepare RHMS students in key areas:
- Drive System Design: Optimizing gear and chain drive systems and understanding wheel design.
- Gripper Design: Implementing torque arms and applying the parallelogram principle in mechanical design.
- Programming: Developing hardware programming skills and flowchart creation to enhance logical thinking.
- Simulated Challenges: Engaging in simulated VEX IQ challenges to gain hands-on experience under time constraints.

Through this structured training program, students will not only gain technical skills in robotics and programming but also develop essential teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving abilities.
