Techblazers Robotics Club Triumphs at VRC Lunar New Year Qualifier

This February, the Techblazers Robotics Club made a memorable trip to the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, to participate in the TCTM & CSAA Blended VRC Lunar New Year Qualifier. The event was buzzing with the energy of approximately 100 teams, all eager for the unique excitement that comes with the VEX Robotics Competition.

Among the competitors, the Techblazers were represented by the outstanding Team 10837A, known as Cube-penser. This team not only stood for our club but also exemplified the spirit of innovation and teamwork that is central to our ethos.

The contest was intense, pushing the boundaries of design, strategy, and team cooperation. Nevertheless, with perseverance and skill, our team shone brightly. Cube-penser excelled in the Teamwork Challenge, achieving an impressive score of 150 points and securing the Teamwork Champion title. This victory is a reflection of their collaborative effort and strategic brilliance on the field.

Team 10837A, Cube-penser, also captured the Amaze Award, highlighting their innovative design and the robot’s effective approach to the game’s challenges. This award is a nod to Cube-penser’s creativity and technical expertise, showcasing their contribution to the competition.
