Recently, the “Gathering Innovation to Promote the Future” Sino-Canadian Cultural Industry Dialogue took place, fostering cross-border collaboration and exploration in the realm of cultural and creative industries. Hosted by the Haidian District Cultural and Creative Industry Association, this event marked the second installment of overseas high-end cultural industry talent international dialogues.

Exploring Business Opportunities in Canada: The event commenced with Raphael, the founder of WWC Investment Bank in Canada, shedding light on “Opportunities for Businesses Venturing into Canada.” His insights ranged from Canada’s business landscape and supportive policies to its key industries and regional talent. Raphael also emphasized WWC Investment Bank’s role in providing analysis and recommendations, enabling companies to navigate various aspects of expansion into the Canadian market.

Navigating the Global Landscape: Zhang Xiaoming, former Executive Deputy Director and researcher at the Cultural Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, delivered a thought-provoking speech titled “The International Macro-Environment for Enterprises Going Global.” He discussed the profound impact of information and internet technology on globalization in the 21st century, highlighting the challenges and ethical dilemmas faced by enterprises in a globalized world. Zhang emphasized the need for a modern corporate system and ethics in the journey of Chinese enterprises going global.

Innovative Projects Unveiled

Tech Education for Future Leaders: Gunoor Khurana, the founder of Techblazers, introduced the company’s innovative projects aimed at nurturing future leaders. Techblazers focuses on technology education, offering courses designed for children aged 4 to 18. These courses, spanning robotics, programming, and 3D design, prepare students for competitions such as the First Lego League, VEX Robotics Competitions, and more. The company plans to expand into comprehensive technology education, covering areas like AI and the metaverse.

Exploring Collaboration Opportunities

During the dialogue session, several representatives from prominent Chinese companies shared their projects and cooperation needs:

Zhongfang Zhiyin Technology Innovation Center: Tang Xinxiang, Deputy General Manager, highlighted Zhongfang Zhiyin’s role in creating an innovative entrepreneurial platform. The center focuses on park operations, technology services, and investments in the new generation of information technology, the Internet of Things, biomedicine, and more. Their aim is to support talent in innovation and entrepreneurship, drive high-tech industry development, and enhance local government industries.

Meishunyuanjie Cultural Technology Industry Company: Yu Huan, Director and General Manager, introduced Meishunyuanjie’s platform, specializing in technological art and the metaverse. They collaborate with institutions to provide exhibition planning, digital art creation, and cultural and artistic digital solutions. Meishunyuanjie also pioneers immersive art spaces for children and conducts successful international events.

Beijing Zhizixing International Travel Agency Co., Ltd: Wang Ruijing, General Manager, presented the company’s “Zhizixing & Dr. Peng’s Scientific Exploration” series. Designed to inspire children’s interest in science, the program uses hands-on experiments to teach them about scientific phenomena and principles.

CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure): Xiao Jing, Regional Project Manager of the Overseas Business Division, introduced CNKI’s mission to promote knowledge learning, exchange, and innovation. CNKI integrates resources at home and abroad and serves as a comprehensive high-tech enterprise in the digital publishing industry.
