At TechBlazers, we offer a comprehensive and purpose-driven robotics curriculum designed to nurture both technical mastery and real-world engineering thinking. Rooted in hands-on learning and competition readiness, the program empowers students to become confident roboticists capable of designing, building, and programming robots that perform under real-world constraints.
This curriculum is especially tailored for students preparing for VEX IQ and VEX V5 competitions, but its scope extends far beyond tournaments. It equips learners with industry-relevant skills in mechanical systems, control logic, design thinking, and collaborative problem-solving—essential for academic advancement and future STEM careers.
The program is structured around three progressive modules that reflect the natural development of a robotics project:
-
CAD & Design Principles
-
Building & Mechanical Assembly
-
Programming for Robotics
Each module consists of 15 two-hour sessions, ensuring students have ample time for experimentation, feedback, iteration, and mastery. Students begin by planning and visualizing their robot in CAD software, transition to hands-on assembly using VEX components, and finally program and refine their robot’s behavior through logic-driven coding exercises.
This sequential approach helps learners move from conceptual design to mechanical execution and software integration—mirroring the complete engineering lifecycle used by real-world robotics teams. By the end of the curriculum, students are not only equipped for VEX competitions but are prepared to lead, innovate, and thrive in any STEM setting.
