On November 15th, TechBlazers high school teams 16610A, 16610V, and 16610Z participated in the highly anticipated LAUNCH at EATON V5 Robotics Competition Signature Event in Cleveland. In this intense competition, teams 16610A and 16610V stood out with their exceptional performance, successfully advancing to the finals as the 5th and 6th seeds respectively, demonstrating the teams’ outstanding collaboration and technical prowess. Although they ultimately fell short in the semifinals, both teams’ performances still earned the attention and applause of the entire venue.

The skills challenge is the competition segment that best demonstrates a team’s complete robot performance, operational capability, and autonomous programming proficiency. The Amaze Award is given to teams that demonstrate exceptional excellence in robot design, build quality, innovation, and overall performance.

16610A’s simultaneous achievement of both the skills championship and Amaze Award fully demonstrates the team’s comprehensive strength in design capability + engineering execution + operational performance, representing a rare and well-rounded accomplishment.
This competition was not only a competitive challenge, but also a concentrated showcase of teamwork, innovative thinking, and practical ability. TechBlazers will continue to learn from this experience and looks forward to achieving even greater success in future competitions!
